The detailing and life-like quality of this pin is remarkable. The weaver taps yarn into the warp threads while sitting at the loom with balls of yarn at her knees and with her hair style in a traditional bun. The three dimensional effect results from overlapping the piece of silver that the weaver is made from onto the piece from which the loom is made.
