"The Navajo" 32 pages; 16 color plates; 17 b&w photos; paper. A reprint in its entirety of a catague
published by J.B. Moore, Indian Trader, of the Crystal Trading Post,
New Mexico, in 1911. Mr. Moore was the first Indian trader to produce
for distribution an illustrated, color, mail-order catalog featuring
Navajo rugs. This reprint also features in full color representation,
the original color plates which were the first ever done of Navajo rugs.
At left is a color plate found on page 18 of the catalog. The rug shown
is 64x85 inches and is listed at $41.00, for Moore's top of the line
"ER-20" class woven by his best weavers of specially prepared
